The Metal Sil-Car Metal Refinery represents a historic center of excellence in the production and refining of non-ferrous alloys. With over half a century of solid experience, our company has constantly evolved over time thanks to continuous technological and organizational investments, expanding its operational horizons both nationally and internationally.
Our philosophy centers on customer satisfaction, with the constant goal of providing products with high-quality technical characteristics that meet the challenges of an increasingly discerning and demanding market. To achieve this standard of excellence, every single raw material is rigorously inspected and selected before entering the processing cycle. We also perform thorough preliminary radiometric checks on all incoming scrap metals to promptly detect any anomalies.
Our History
Founded in 1967 as the ‘Faletti Rodolfo’ sole proprietorship, primarily focused on the production of non-ferrous alloys for the industrial sector, in 1981, with the entry of children Faletti Silvia and Faletti Carlo, it became Raffineria Metalli Metal Sil-Car S.n.C., thus highlighting the most important phase of metal processing: refining.

Born as the sole proprietorship ‘Faletti Rodolfo,’ primarily focused on the production of non-ferrous alloys for the industrial sector.
1981
New Generations
With the joining of children Silvia Faletti and Carlo Faletti, the company became Raffineria Metalli Metal Sil-Car S.n.C., thereby highlighting the most important phase of metal processing: refining.

Alloys for Art
Our artistic alloys combine tradition and innovation. The MSC 9631 silicon bronze, along with the special patented MSC 12 Silver and MSC A6 Gold alloys, guarantee exceptional results for every artwork.
Innovative Alloys for Monuments
Ideal for statues and monuments thanks to their natural coloration and resistance to atmospheric agents. Perfect for sand or lost-wax casting, they are completely lead and nickel-free (MSC 12 Silver and MSC A6 Gold).
Alloys for Investment Casting
We produce special alloys for investment casting dedicated to the artistic and mechanical sectors, including eyewear. The new FALCAR 1 and FALCAR 2 alloys are an excellent ecological and high-performance alternative to beryllium copper.

Internal Chemical-Physical Laboratory / Material Control Laboratory
The Metal Sil-Car S.n.C. refinery operates with the objective of providing its customers with products featuring high-quality technical characteristics that meet the increasingly demanding and attentive requests of the customer/market.
All raw materials are rigorously inspected before entering the production cycle, and all processes are carried out in compliance with human and environmental safety standards. Our chemical laboratory, equipped with the most modern analysis systems, carefully monitors all processing phases that lead to a high-quality product.
Metal Sil-Car, in fact, has the following chemical-physical laboratory equipment available:
- ICP spectrophotometer;
- X-ray fluorescence;
- atomic absorption;
- hardness control using HB 30D/10D durometer;
Attention to quality translates into the search for innovative solutions while respecting regulations for the safety of operators and environmental protection.
Furthermore, a radiometric check is carried out for all incoming metal scrap, aimed at detecting anomalous levels of radioactivity or any disused sources from certain materials.
Environmental Policy
The Metal Sil-Car S.n.C. Metal Refinery, a company producing non-ferrous alloys in ingots and sub-formats, located in the industrial area of Cellatica (BS), considers environmental protection one of its main objectives.
The Refinery’s commitment, in fact, is not only directed towards production needs but also towards ensuring safety and health in its activities, protecting the environment, and maintaining a good relationship with the local area.
To this end, the Refinery has adopted a targeted investment policy, equipping itself with effective tools (photovoltaic system, fume abatement system) and, thanks also to the involvement of all employees, has achieved important milestones not only in the technological and production fields but also in accident prevention and the reduction of environmental impact.
Following the results of the audit carried out at our operational headquarters, the Certiquality Technical Commission has ruled that our Quality Management System complies with the assessment required by Article 6, point 5) of EU Regulation No. 333/2011 and the assessment required by EU Regulation No. 715/2013 (End of Waste). Certificates No. 20453 and No. 20454.
The company is also registered in the register of companies that carry out non-hazardous waste recovery activities with number R1636 from 07/21/2013 to 07/21/2018.
